Ever have just a disastrous day? A day where you can't find your homework that you spent hours the previous day working on. The day as your walking up the stairs, you trip and fall on your face. The day where you get a test grade back and its just a huge disappointment. A day when you find out when someone close to you has die. A day where the weather is far from bright and sunny.
Ever have these kinds of days?
I am sure you have. But there is always that one place, that one person, that one joy that makes all the awful things that can happen, just a bit bearable. For me its that one brief moment, before I fall asleep. I look back on my day, maybe see how horrible it was or how wonderful it was. And just think to my self.....its at that restful, peaceful moment that I feel safe.
Sometimes, I'll even listen to my iPod Listen to some John Mayer, The Goo Goo Dolls, John Legend, Cary Brothers or Ellie Goulding. Music can be so incredibly powerful in conveying and spreading emotions. Music can spread emotions of happiness, anger, sadness, and so many other emotions. What I enjoy about a good song is it lets my mind wander and relate that music to things and if I'm lucky let it consume me. Not only can the words provoke an emotion but the sounds and beats.
The moment that I feel safe is when I let go of my troubles and look forward to a new day. Music helps me reach that calming state. The state of serenity. Music = Serenity

I completely agree, music can do some crazy stuff to alter your mood and help you out. Also, (no shame) a little John Mayer here and there never hurt anybody. Nice work!
